HOUSEPOLICIES / HOUSE RULES 

The Boutique Retreat strives to provide our guests with an exceptionally clean, comfortable and convenient hotel experience. These Hotel Policies/House Rules are considered part of our reservation agreement with you. As our hotel guest, and as upon your check-in, you are agreeing to abide by ALL of our Hotel Policies/House Rules, terms and conditions, and procedures, and we reserve the right to refuse service, or to make a charge to the guest's card if any fees are assessed for damages or not complying with Hotel Policies / House Rules. The Management of The Boutique Retreat would greatly appreciate your co-operation in abiding the following, as we value each of our guest's safety and enjoyment. Our Hotel Policies/House Rules may change from time to time. 

Arrival and Departure Guests must be at least 18 years of age to check in at The Boutique Retreat. In the interests of security and to prevent fraud, guests are required to confirm their identity by providing their valid government issued photo identification (Driver’s license, Passport and/or Identification Card (IC)) prior to check-in. Check-in time is from 3.00 pm. Check-out time is prior to 11.00 am.  Early check-ins and late check-outs must be approved in-advance by Management and may be subject to an additional fee. 
 
Cancellations Cancellations made more than seven (7) days before scheduled arrival will be fully refunded. Cancellations made less than seven (7) days before scheduled arrival will forfeit the full deposit (first night’s fee plus taxes). “No shows” will forfeit the full amount of the stay unless prior arrangements are made with Management. Modification requests are also subject to these time requirements.   
 
Accepted Payment Methods We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover. Other payment methods may be arranged directly with Boutique Retreat management. 
 
Reservations Guarantee To guarantee your reservation you will be asked for your credit card details. At time of booking, you authorize us to charge your credit card for the first night's stay plus any applicable taxes. You also authorize The Boutique Retreat to charge your credit card for the remaining balance due within seven (7) days of arrival. If any credit card charge is denied, you authorize The Boutique Retreat to keep the first night's booking fee, plus taxes and cancel the booking. 

Rates and Minimum Length of Stay Requirements Our rates vary by room type, availability, day of the week and season; weekends are always in high demand. During periods of high demand or major events and for certain packages we may apply a requirement for a minimum length of stay. You will be advised of this at the time of your reservation.             

Local Taxes All guest expenses are subject to the City of McMinnville transient lodging tax of 10% and the Oregon state lodging tax of 1.5% which is exclusive of any nightly rate quoted. 
 
Additional Guests Our Cottage designs were based upon the tiny house concept. As such, they cannot accommodate more than two guests at a time - either two adults or one adult and one child. If this policy is violated, and more than two guests stay in a Cottage, a $150 additional guest fee (per guest and per night) will be automatically charged to your card on file. 

Smoking We do not permit smoking within our guest rooms or in any of the common areas. Further, Oregon's Indoor Clean Air Act (ICAA) prohibits smoking within ten feet of any entrance, door or window of the Boutique Retreat. A sanitation fee of $250.00 will be charged where smoking occurs within a guest room or any prohibited area. 

Small Pets and Animals No pets or animals are allowed within our guest rooms. A pet sanitation fee of $250.00 will be charged in the case of unauthorized pets or animals. 

Right to Refuse Service The Boutique Retreat is privately owned and operated. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason(s) that does not violate Federal or State laws. The Boutique Retreat has a zero tolerance policy in which we will refuse to admit or refuse service or accommodation in our hotel or may remove a person, without refund, who refuses to abide by the reasonable standards and policies established herein.  The Boutique Retreat will refuse service or evict a guest for:  failure to pay for accommodations; for being under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any other intoxicating substance and acting in a disorderly fashion as to disturb the peace of other guests; acting in a disorderly fashion as to disturb the peace of other guests; failing to properly supervise their children at all times; using the hotel for an unlawful purpose; bringing into the hotel any firearm, explosives, unlawful hazardous or toxic substance; destroying, damaging, defacing, or threatening harm to hotel property, employees or guests; exceeding the maximum allowable occupancy of room; refusing to abide by the Terms and Conditions stated herein. We reserve the right to electronically change the door code to your Cottage and refuse further access to your Cottage in the event of material violation of our policies. If this happens, either law enforcement or a person designated by Management will meet you at your door to remove your belongings.
 
HOUSE RULES 


No Parties The Boutique Retreat enforces a No In-Room Party Policy to ensure we can protect the hotel and our guests at all times. No parties, loud disturbances and/or noise-nuisance are allowed or tolerated on these premises. In the event of a disturbance, one polite request (warning) will be given to reduce the noise. If our request is not followed, the guest will be asked to leave the hotel without refund. Registered guest(s) are responsible for all persons visiting. Non-Registered visitors are only permitted until 11:00PM. If found with more “people” not listed on the Guest Registration Form after 11:00PM, your stay will be considered a party. If this policy is violated, the Host will have the option of terminating your occupancy without refund or charging a $200 fee for the disturbance.   
 
Quiet Hours10:00PMto 8:00AM. If you become aware of a disruptive guest, please contact Retreat Management at (503) 563-0505 immediately by phone. Televisions, voices or other devices must be kept at a respectful low level at all times. Doors should be opened and closed quietly. If this policy is violated, the Host will have the option of terminating your occupancy without refund or charging a $150 fee for the disturbance.   
 
Children As the parents, guardians, or chaperones of children aged 18 and under, you are personally and legally responsible for, and must supervise them at all times. For safety reasons, please do not leave children unattended in guest rooms or allow them to roam the hotel property unsupervised. 

Free WiFi Access Access to our WiFi is free for our registered guests. The hotel WiFi access code is subject to change without notice. The hotel will not be liable in the event of WiFi disruption. Guests may not incur any internet charges or pay per view fees that are not directly paid for by the guest. While streaming services are provided by the Boutique Retreat, guests are responsible for deleting any private log-in credentials used during their stay. ​
 
Parking at Own Risk All vehicles are parked at the risk of the owner. The Boutique Retreat shall not assume liability or responsibility for any vehicle, occupants, or contents while operated or parked near the hotel property. 

Damage and/or Theft of Hotel Property You are liable for any damage howsoever caused (whether by deliberate, negligent, or reckless act) to the room(s), hotel’s premises or property caused by you or any person in your party, whether or not staying at the hotel during your stay. The Boutique Retreat reserves the right to retain your credit card and/or debit card details, or forfeit your security deposit of as presented at registration and charge or debit the credit/debit card such amounts as it shall, at its sole discretion, deem necessary to compensate or make good the cost or expenses incurred or suffered by The Boutique Retreat as a result of the aforesaid. Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right, and you hereby authorize us, to charge your credit or debit card for any damage incurred to your room or the Hotel property during your stay, including and without limitation for all property damage, missing or damaged items, smoking fee, cleaning fee, guest compensation, etc. We will make every effort to rectify any damage internally prior to contracting specialist to make the repairs, and therefore will make every effort to keep any costs that the guest would incur to a minimum. 
 
Damage to Room Damage to rooms, fixtures, furnishing and equipment including the removal of electronic equipment, towels, artwork, etc. will be charged at 150% of full and new replacement value plus any shipping and handling charges. Any damage to hotel property, whether accidental or wilful, is the responsibility of the registered guest for each particular room. Any costs associated with repairs and/or replacement will be charged to the credit card of the registered guest. In extreme cases, criminal charges will be pursued.​ 

Gratuities and Service Charges Tips and gratuities to our team members are at our guest’s discretion and we do not apply any compulsory service charges. 

Environmental Policy We constantly challenge ourselves to provide the right environment for our guests and team members through the promotion of environmental awareness. We train our team members to incorporate good environmental practice in all aspects by periodically reviewing our practices, procedures and objectives. 

Website Information The Boutique Retreat makes its best efforts to ensure that all the information that appears on its website is accurate. However, no warranty, expressed or implied, is given that the information provided on this website is error free. The Boutique Retreat does not accept liability for any such errors and/or omissions, and reserves the right to change the information published at anytime and

without notice. 

Disputes and Claims Any controversy, dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these hotel policies shall come under the jurisdiction of most competent courts of Yamhill County, Oregon.
